TIA NOW: A Year-Round Focus on the Network's Future

TIA NOW

The Future of the Network is much more than the TIA Conference being held in October 2013. TIA's Online Video Network, TIA NOW, offers Conference attendees on-the-spot news and views.

But you don't need to wait until October 2013 to start receiving great coverage on the topic! TIA NOW is producing a four-part Future of the Network Leadership Documentary to be released between January and October 2013. Sponsors of the TIA 2013 event are contributing to the segments.

Filmed from TIA's new, state-of-the-art studio as well as at sponsors' labs and facilities, the focus of documentary aligns with the following TIA 2013 educational tracks:

  • Track 1: Mobility & Broadband Capacity
  • Track 2: Customer Experience Management
  • Track 3: M2M and the Internet of Things
  • Track 4: Cloud Computing and Data Centers

TIA NOW will explore with leading experts and analysts the challenges, controversies and trends affecting the Future of the Network. The series will showcase the innovation and leadership of TIA's member companies, the ICT industry, and trends that are driving growth.

What is the future of the network? What do we want it to look like? How do we get there? Everything and everyone will someday be connected to the information communication ecosystem. Vertical industries like healthcare, transportation, media, security and analytics will be supported by the network and somebody needs to facilitate those industries. Join TIA NOW as we explore the path towards the future of the network and how industry luminaries plan to be a part of that future. The history of the network is known. The problems that exist are visible. But the future of the network is a story untold.

The future of the network is seen through a triangular prism of technology, market trends and policy. Where is technology innovation needed? What policy aspects require consideration? What market trends point the way to new business opportunities? These are questions that lead to the right answers for the future of the network.
